Sussex Gay Outdoor Club
We are a friendly active group and always welcome newcomers. Our walks cover the beautiful landscape around the south coast, South Downs and weald of Sussex.
We usually go out on the second Sunday of the month, including occasional forays with our neighbouring Gay Outdoor Club groups.
Walks are normally 6 to 10 miles and designed to cover a range of abilities and tastes. We usually bring our own packed lunches or stop for a pub lunch: see individual walks for details. Some afternoons end with fresh tea and coffee at the meeting point plus a range of delicious cakes supplied by our members.

The Arun Gay Society (TAGS)
The Arun Gay Society (TAGS) was formed in 1982 out of the local branch of CHE (Campaign for Homosexual Equality), which had been meeting in Littlehampton since December 1974. TAGS operates primarily as a social group for the LGBTQ+ community in the southern part of West Sussex, but members come from much further afield.
Our regular gatherings offer a relaxed social atmosphere and among the members there are fully qualified counsellors able to give help to those facing particular difficulties and many who are willing to offer purely practical advice and information.
We meet informally, once a month in a seafront hotel bar in Worthing and at other times usually at a members home.
