Switchboard is inviting LGBTQ+ survivors of domestic abuse to welcome 2024 at our free January Survivor Space event.
Our Domestic Abuse team will host the session from 1pm until 3pm on Wednesday 17 January at Community Base, 113 Queens Road, Brighton, BN1 3XG.
They will invite group members to discuss the new year and consider what they’d like to do and achieve together.
The team will also host their open, shared space, giving every participant the opportunity to share their thoughts and feelings in a confidential, safe environment.
Tea, coffee and cake will be available.

Our Survivor Spaces are peer-support events co-produced with attendees. A Switchboard independent domestic violence advocate (IDVA) facilitates, guides conversation and provides support if required. The sessions are not therapeutic spaces, and the group agreement is reviewed at the beginning of each session.
