Dementia SupportDementia Support is for LGBTQ people living with or affected by dementia or concerned about memory loss

Dementia affects around 850,000 adults in the UK. Whether you are someone living with dementia or memory difficulties, are a caregiver, a friend or family member, you deserve support that recognises your individual life experience.

We currently offer the following programmes:

  • RSPH Health & Wellbeing Awards - Health Equity Winner

    Worthing Dementia Support Group

    Monthly peer support sessions in Worthing Dementia Hub on the first Wednesday of each month from 10:30am to 12:30pm. For the latest event updates, see our events calendar.

  • Speak Out With Dementia

    Speak Out With Dementia is our online weekly meet-up for LGBTQ+ people living with dementia. We meet every Thursday on Zoom from 5pm to 6pm. To find out more or come along, please contact [email protected] or [email protected]
  • LGBTQ+ Carers Meetup

    Online meetups over Zoom for LGBTQ+ carers of people living with dementia, on the third Tuesday of each month from 2pm to 3pm. Please contact [email protected] to register. For the latest event updates, see our events calendar.

  • One-to-one support in person, by phone, or online
  • Training, advice, and information on LGBTQ dementia for individuals, care givers, and organisations.
