Dementia Support

Dementia SupportDementia Support is for LGBTQ people living with or affected by dementia or concerned about memory loss

Dementia affects around 850,000 adults in the UK. Whether you are someone living with dementia or memory difficulties, are a caregiver, a friend or family member, you deserve support that recognises your individual life experience.

We currently offer the following programmes:

  • Rainbow Café

    Group peer support, in person at Plot 22 on the last Wednesday of every month from 1:30-3:30pm.

  • Worthing Dementia Support Group

    Monthly peer support sessions in Worthing Dementia Hub on the first Wednesday of each month from 10:30am – 12:30pm.

  • LGBTQ+ Carers Meetup

    Online meetups over Zoom for LGBTQ+ carers of people living with dementia, on the third Tuesday of each month from 2pm – 3pm. Please contact [email protected] to register.

  • One-to-one support in person, by phone, or online
  • Training, advice, and information on LGBTQ dementia for individuals, care givers, and organisations.
